Hyderabad: Deccan Fencing Club informed that its fencers were selected to represent Telangana in the 21st Cadet National Fencing Championship to be held at Rudrapur from May 23 to 28.
At the Telangana Cadet Selection Trials held at Vivek Vardhini Education Society, the following DFC fencers delivered outstanding performances: Pratham Juvvadi won the silver medal in the men’s foil event; Samiksha Gariney secured the silver medal in the women’s epee event; and Pranavi Chereddi claimed the bronze medal in the women’s foil event.
The DFC expressed hope that the fencers would bring laurels to the State, continuing their success story.
